Hello

Hey guys, I'm doing pretty good here. I had my team meeting on Tuesday and they said I should be out in early December. I guess it was to late to get me on the November discharge list. Such is life. I started working last Monday as a teachers assistant and it is going well. They are letting me use the computers in the library on Wednesday mornings instead of going to art. I am going on a sightseeing field trip tonight. Love ya! TTFN!

The prefix a-

Hey guys, me and Stan were wondering about the word astringent being not "not stringent" a few weeks ago. Usually we think of the prefix a to mean not or without, but there are other meanings too:

a- pref.
1. On; in: abed.
2. In the act of: aborning.
3. In the direction of: astern.
4. In a specified state or condition: abuzz.
